The Dawson Hostel Dublin House Rules
To keep everyone safe and comfortable, please follow these guidelines:
🚭 No Smoking or Illegal Substances Smoking or using illegal substances anywhere on the property is prohibited. Breaking this rule comes with a €100 fine.
🍾 Alcohol-Free Space No drinking or storing alcohol in rooms or common areas.
🔕 Quiet Hours: 23:00 – 08:00Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours.
🤝 Respect Everyone Treat fellow guests and staff with courtesy. Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
🍽 Food & Drink Enjoy snacks in the kitchen only—no food or drinks in bedrooms to keep things fresh and clean.
🛏 Registered Guests Only No visitors beyond reception and the lobby. One bed per guest—no sharing or sleepovers.
🍳 Kitchen Etiquette Wash, dry, and put away anything you use. Kitchen gear stays in the kitchen.
🔥 Safety First Do not tamper with fire or safety equipment. Check the fire evacuation plan on your door. If the alarm sounds, follow the plan and head to the nearest assembly point.
⏰ Check-Out Please vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. on departure day.
💶 Damages Any damage (including soiled bedding or carpets) may result in charges of up to €200.
